DESCRIPTION:
For an English Language Learner class reduction pilot program. Funds shall be used in New York City and the Hudson Valley for initiatives to decrease the size of ELL classes by encouraging more
teachers to become dual certified in compliance with applicable law and regulations, as well as assisting teachers in learning the characteristics ofÌýÌý ELLs, including the stages of language development, how these stages affect instruction, and approaches to differentiate content and language development for ELLs.
